Inspection, adjustment and maintenance methods of electric forklift contactors
1. Inspection and adjustment of electric forklift contactor
1. Connect the forklift battery switch and turn off the seat switch.
2. Turn the key to the open position and release the parking brake. The electric forklift line contactor will close.
3. Select the direction and quickly press the forklift accelerator pedal until it is low.
4. Measure and record the time required to close the bypass contactor of the lithium electric forklift. With the accelerator fully depressed, this time should be 1.5-2.5 seconds.
5. If the value recorded from step 5 is greater than 2.5 seconds, check whether the bypass contactor contacts of the electric forklift can move freely. Check for bad connector wiring and check the current limit. It should be noted that if the forklift accelerator connection is not adjusted properly, the bypass contactor will not close.
6. Precautions when adjusting the components of the battery forklift truck contactor. There is battery voltage and strong current, which may cause casualties. Disconnect the battery and discharge the main capacitor (main CAP) before connecting to the forklift control board.
7. Disconnect the interquipmachinery forklift battery and discharge the main capacitor.
8. Disconnect the logic board connection cable group P1.
9. Set the multimeter at the diode test position during inspection.
10. Connect the multimeter terminal to the positive terminal of the diode in the logic circuit, and connect the negative terminal to the negative terminal of the diode in the logic circuit.
11. The multimeter used when checking the electric forklift contactor must display 3-9 volts.
12. Connect the wires in reverse (the positive wire of the multimeter is connected to the negative wire, and the negative wire of the multimeter is connected to the positive wire). The meter must display OL.
2. Maintenance method of electric forklift contactor
Forklift contactors are mainly divided into: power steering contactor, traveling contactor, main power contactor, bypass contactor, re-rising contactor, hydraulic lifting contactor, steering contactor, etc. Different contactors have different functions. For example, the power steering contactor is used to control the power of the power steering hydraulic pump on and off. When the forklift is running, it is closed, thus providing power-off protection. When the vehicle breaks down or a certain component of the circuit does not work properly, the main control will stop supplying power to the main contactor to remind the forklift driver to pay attention to safety.
The forklift walking contact is used to control the forward and backward movement of the vehicle. When it is abnormal, it can send an alarm to monitor the working status of the forklift. Some better forklifts also have sensors distributed on various systems of the vehicle. When the forklift fails, a fault code will be displayed and displayed on the LCD screen on the dashboard, so that maintenance personnel can repair the forklift more quickly. There are also main power contactors, bypass contactors, re-rising contactors, hydraulic lifting contactors, steering contactors, etc. for main circuit power protection. The contactor is one of the many electrical accessories made of various sporadic accessories. Once it is damaged, it is relatively difficult to repair. What you can do is to check whether the electric forklift contactor assembly is burned out or whether the coil is short-circuited or broken. The repair method of the electric forklift contactor is to replace the platinum contactor, a spare part of the electric forklift contactor. Or directly replace the contactor assembly with a new one.
